Since its inception in 1993, the gallery has exhibited the work of many of the world’s most highly acclaimed contemporary artists. Owned and run by the art dealer Jay Jopling, The gallery achieved its reputation by being the first to give one person shows to many of the Young British Artists (YBAs), including Tracey Emin.
The programme extends across its three gallery spaces: Bermondsey in South London, Mason’s Yard in St. James’s, London and Hong Kong Central district, as well as online exhibitions.
