This new body of work marks an important development in the artist’s ongoing conceptual and material inquiry into image manipulation through digital and manual collage. Cheveldave’s multi-stage process begins with a selection of images extracted from the artist’s encyclopaedic archive of appropriated and self-captured photographs.
